The New All Indonesia App: What Muslim Travellers Should Know

In a significant step forward in digitalizing its border services, the Indonesian government has implemented a new policy. Starting on September 1, 2025, all international passengers arriving in Indonesia are required to fill out their arrival declaration through a new digital application called All Indonesia. This initiative aims to streamline the entry process and enhance efficiency at airports and seaports.

What is the All Indonesia App?

The All Indonesia app functions as a single integrated portal for various services related to immigration, health, quarantine, and customs. Travellers no longer need to worry about filling out multiple paper forms, as the data you enter into the app is automatically shared with the relevant authorities. This not only simplifies the process but also significantly shortens the time required for international passengers to clear border control upon arrival.

Through the application, passengers can fill in their personal details, trip information, and customs declarations before they arrive in Indonesia. Once the data is complete, the user will receive a unique QR code to be scanned by officials during the inspection process at the airport. This policy applies to all international visitors, including Indonesian citizens returning from overseas travel.

How to Access the App?

The All Indonesia app can be accessed in two ways: first, through the official website at allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id, and second, by downloading the All Indonesia application from the Play Store or App Store. While you can fill out the form upon arrival, it is highly recommended to complete it up to three days before your departure to ensure a smoother process.

Initially, this mandatory requirement will only apply at a few international gateways, namely Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Juanda International Airport, and I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, as well as international seaports in Batam. However, beginning October 1, 2025, the application will become mandatory for all other international airports across Indonesia.

For Muslim travellers seeking to explore Indonesia, a top destination for Halal tourism, this new app is a welcome development. While the All Indonesia app is a universal requirement for all travellers, its implementation directly supports the broader goal of making travel to Indonesia seamless and efficient.

A faster, more streamlined arrival process means you can spend less time navigating airport formalities and more time immersing yourself in the country’s rich Islamic culture, visiting its many beautiful mosques, and enjoying its diverse array of Halal-certified culinary delights. This new digital system aligns with Indonesia's commitment to becoming a global hub for Muslim-friendly tourism by providing a modern and convenient entry experience for all.
