Not just Boracay...
It’s official — the voice that soundtracked many Muslim weddings, Ramadan reflections, and heartfelt car rides is returning to Southeast Asia. Internationally acclaimed Swedish-Lebanese artist Maher Zain is making his long-awaited comeback to the region in August 2025, and fans across Malaysia and Singapore are already buzzing with excitement.
After a six-year break and a global pandemic, Maher Zain’s return feels like more than just a concert — it’s a reunion, a spiritual gathering, and a celebration of hope and unity. Whether you're a lifelong fan or just discovering his music, this is one event Muslim travellers might want to plan for.

Maher’s last full concert tour in Malaysia took place in 2019 and sold out across four cities within days — no surprise, given his heartfelt lyrics and uplifting message that resonates with Muslims around the world. Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for his return.
Now, the wait is over.
Announced first on Maher’s social media and later confirmed in a press conference in Petaling Jaya, the South-East Asia Tour 2025 will include Kuala Lumpur (16 Aug), Singapore (21 Aug), and Kota Kinabalu (23 Aug) — bringing his music to both Peninsular and East Malaysia, as well as neighbouring Singapore.
For Muslim fans, this isn’t just a concert — it’s a chance to reconnect with the music that has accompanied everything from iftar nights to nikah ceremonies.
Maher Zain has never shied away from integrating spirituality, compassion, and faith into his music. His songs often touch on themes of gratitude, prayer, and love for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) — making his concerts more than just performances. For many Muslims, his work has offered emotional comfort, motivation during hard times, and even a gateway into reconnecting with their faith.
During the press conference, Maher shared:
“Malaysia represents an exceptionally important chapter in my career — arguably more significant than any other nation worldwide. The fans here are just marvellous and they are very close to my heart.”
He also addressed fans directly:
“To the fans who’ve waited six years — my team and I are coming back for you. Let’s make this tour something we’ll remember forever. I’m really hoping to see the concert halls filled with families, young people, and long-time fans.”
