The Lego Movie 2 Event

Attention LEGO fans, you won’t want to miss this! LEGO Singapore is hosting its largest 17-day event that will bring to life the worlds and characters in LEGO Movie 2. To celebrate the premiere of the movie, LEGO Singapore is launching 70840 Welcome to Apocalypseburg (the biggest LEGO Movie 2 set). This epic 360-degree experience allows builders to recreate scenes from the movie. Fair warning: the advanced building set has a whopping 3,178 pieces and will be launched on 9th February!

When: 8 February 2019 to 24 February 2019, 10am to 10pm

Ancient Greek Technology Travelling Exhibition

Travel back in time and unravel interesting facts about ancient Greece’s rich history and discover their lesser-known contributions to Science and technology. Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology from Greece has curated a special exhibition known as “Ancient Greek Technology Travelling Exhibition”. All the exhibits are fully functional (there are more than 40 inventions!) and built with great accuracy. It’s time to be inspired by the Greek origins of modern technology!

When: Until 17 March 2019, 10am to 6pm

Where: The Annexe Building, Science Centre Singapore

Price: S$9, free for children below 3 (excluding general admission to the Science Centre)

Japanese Film Festival

31 made-in-Japan films, 26 screenings and one immersive experience. Choose from romance, comedy and action-adventure movies at this annual event. Don’t miss the anticipated opening film One Cut of The Dead too, a comedy-horror zombie movie by director Shinichirou Ueda. Film buffs can also check out Yakiniku Dragon, Before We Vanish and Colour Me True among others. With movies galore, get your popcorn and settle in for a movie experience like no other.

Dahlia Dreams

The first floral display of 2019 is already in full bloom! Featuring a wide diversity of vibrant dahlias alongside other festive blooms, take your time to saunter around and marvel at the scenic landscape. The main highlight? Keep your eyes peeled for the “Thousand Blooms” chrysanthemum arrangments which features a display of 500 to 1,500 flowers blooming from a single plant! This outing will be a sure-hit with families, especially those with children and seniors.

When: Until 24 February 2019, 9am to 9pm

Where: Flower Dome, Gardens by the Bay

Price: Admission charges to the conservatories applies.
