There are various ways to get to Ladakh, one of the easiest being by flying from New Delhi to Leh, the capital of Ladakh province.

If you're wondering which tourist spot is the most popular in Ladakh, one of them is Pangong Lake, also known as Pangong Tso. This lake gained popularity after being used as a filming location for the final scene of 3 Idiots. Its clear turquoise waters and surrounding hills are truly breathtaking. Interestingly, it's one of the highest saltwater lakes in the world.
HalalZilla Tip: Pangong Lake is remote, so prayer facilities are limited. Plan your visit so you can perform your salah either before heading to the lake from Leh or at rest stops en route. Bring snacks or packed meals, as halal food options are not available in the area.

Built in 1991 by Japanese monk Gyomyo Nakamura, Shanti Stupa offers stunning views of Leh and the surrounding mountains. The peaceful setting is perfect for reflection and contemplation.
