20 Mosques in Singapore For Qiyam Al Layl 2019

The last 10 nights of Ramadhan has arrived and this blessed month will begin to come to a close. As Muslims, many perform Qiyam Al Lal to increase our worship, especially in the last 10 nights. Qiyam Al Layl translates to standing during the night. This voluntary prayer is often offered between the time of obligatory Ishak and Fajr prayers. It is also known as Tahajjud.

Aisha reported: With the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, the Prophet used to tighten his waist belt (i.e. work harder) and used to pray the whole night, and used to keep his family awake for the prayers. [Bukhari]
