If you’re planning to visit Madinah during Ramadan 2026, here’s a unique way to give back while experiencing one of Islam’s holiest sites up close. Masjid an-Nabawi is inviting volunteers to assist with iftar meal services, offering a meaningful chance to serve pilgrims breaking their fast.
This initiative invites both men and women to join the team that helps pilgrims break their fast in a safe, organised, and meaningful manner. Volunteers will be directly involved in the preparation, collection, and distribution of iftar meals, an essential service for the thousands of pilgrims who gather each evening during the holy month.

Position: Iftar Meal Service Assistant
Location: Inside Masjid an-Nabawi
Eligibility: Open to both men and women
Duration: Entire month of Ramadan 1447 AH (2026)
Shift time: 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm daily
Primary duty: Help organise and distribute iftar meals to pilgrims

Application process: Fill out the official form provided by the General Presidency or visit the online portal here.
Volunteers will work under the supervision of the mosque’s service departments, following safety protocols and operational guidelines. This ensures that everything runs smoothly while keeping everyone safe inside the holy precincts.
